If you've already copied your ROMs over to Batocera and would like to cut down in a simpler manner, you can use tools that can be run inside of Batocera such as andrebrait's 1g1r-romset-generator instead. Then, a tool such as Voljega's BestArcade can be used to create a curated set. For arcade games specifically, it's recommended to first read the dedicated arcade guide first.
